The AimPoint Speed Class is designed for golfers looking to eliminate costly three-putts and consistently control their putting speed in dynamic course conditions. This class provides a structured, problem-solving approach to mastering the art of putting, focusing on stroke length, forward stroke timing, and the critical skill of distance control.
In this class, you’ll tackle key putting challenges head-on, learning to make fast, effective adjustments on diverse green conditions. You’ll develop a system for reading speed requirements based on real-world factors like green slope, texture, and speed, all while building the capacity needed to minimize errors and confidently handle uphill, downhill, and cross-slope putts.
Core Problem-Solving Elements:
• Three-Putt Elimination: Through drills focused on precision and speed control, you’ll train to avoid costly three-putts, reducing scores and building confidence on the greens.
• Stroke Length Calibration: Discover how to set your stroke length relative to hole distance and green conditions. Using a data-driven approach, you’ll learn to develop a consistent feel, adapting your stroke length precisely to reduce error and improve consistency in distance.
• Forward Stroke Timing for Distance Control: Train your stroke timing for adaptability that translates to better distance management. You’ll practice techniques for adjusting forward timing based on putt length, speed and slope.
• Adapting to Green Speed Conditions: Learn a systematic approach to reading and adapting to speed conditions, particularly on challenging greens with variable slopes or grain changes.
• Uphill and Downhill Adaptation Drills: Master the subtle adjustments required for uphill and downhill putts, understanding how to respond to different severity and slopes. With these drills, you’ll be prepared to handle a wide range of green challenges confidently.
By the end of the AimPoint Speed Class, you’ll have a plan for training in a manner that enables you to thrive in any green condition, eliminate three-putts, and approach each putt with confidence and control. Whether you’re playing at your home course or adjusting to unfamiliar greens, you’ll know exactly how to handle each situation and make smart, efficient putts that lower your score.
