When the landing slope and rolling slope are radically different, your basic green read needs an adjustment. For instance, if your landing slope is steeper than the roll out section, it will significantly deflect the ball before it even starts to roll out. In these cases, you should read both the landing slope and the rolling slope separately, then combine them to get an accurate picture of where you need to aim.
