Hello. I've been an AimPoint Express user for ten years now in both casual and competitive play, and it was helpful to see the most current content. I do have some questions, please, that I didn't see addressed in the videos. (I'm sorry if I just missed.) Can you please help with these? Thank you in advance.
1. As I recall, the ideal AimPoint read was calibrated for a putt speed that would end 6-12 inches past the hole. Is that still the case? Is that the same no matter the length or up/downhill slope of the putt?
2. With now using the pinkie finger for a 1 on a short putt, how are we picking the aiming point for a 1.5% slope on a short putt? Do you just measure a 1 and a 2 and then split the difference?
3. Do you consider a putt that has a break in the first half and then flattens out in the second half of the putt (or vice versa) to be a double breaker and handle the read as such?
4. I learned to gauge slope now years ago, but absolutely need to improve/refresh this spring. Is the optimal way to still use a digital level on all manner of putts in practice to then test your slope reads?
5. I was never really sure how best to use AimPoint for chips and short pitches around the green. Is the correct process to read the rollout from your anticipated landing spot and then use the AimPoint process from there? Or from somewhere else?
Thank you!!
