does the read change with these? for example a downhill putt is likely to break more given slower speed and vice versa
also the affect of the grain on the read in florida and nJ.

The 'read" part doesn't change, but depending on the amount of downhill, you can adjust your arm bend to accommodate the increase in break associated wit the slower speed. Make sense?
